Bonjour Bebe

We drove up north this weekend to celebrate my sister in law’s baby shower for our sweet newest niece. It was a beautiful time together with family, filled with charcuterie, coffee and a diy flower bouquet.

One of her friends spoke and gave a beautiful message for everyone about motherhood and how God is in control. It really resonated with me because I’ve had so much anxiety about keeping baby healthy during pregnancy. The verse she mentioned is one that I’m going to hold close throughout this pregnancy:

1 Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.

Psalm 127:1-2

I have spent the past week crocheting a blue daisy baby blanket and finished it just in the knick of time! I’m so happy with how it turned out.
